Oh wow, I had this vile rumor spread about me among my old batch mates in my old high school back when I was studying in college. Seems like someone spread around I was already pregnant. Of course it was not true, but I wonder how many people actually believed in it. I was not a popular girl at that old school before I went to college so I guess a lot did.
Rumors maybe too harsh I think in my case misconceptions are more like it. To me perhaps that would be if people always do not put my statements into context. As a result, I do get into a number of fights. It is no biggie but it can be tiring.
I don’t think there are any rumors circulating around me because I don’t hang out with a lot of people, only close friends. You can’t control what people think or say about you, but you can control your own actions.

They said if rumors were spread about you it means that people are looking up to you. I do believe rumors and spreading because there is some truth to it.
Well, some of them were good rumors some others were bad, the funny part is that none of them was real. People see what they want to see and in the end, that particular perception is just a projection of themselves.
Well, to be honest I personally don’t care about any rumors that are spreading outside about me. I prefer to keep myself busy rather than dwelling on the rumors.
When reading this I remember that a neighbor of the neighborhood who had many children, and was envious because I had no children and was judicious, it occurred to her to say that I was a lesbian hahaha which made me laugh.
Brutal rumor was spread about me at summer camp that I was a pothead just because I was pretty spacey and zoned out all the time. You should never spread rumors about people whether they’re true or not because it hurts people’s self image. The only exception is if it’s for a just cause preventing harm from others, but even then you should be absolutely sure that your source is correct. Thanks for the interesting topic!
There have been many rumors spread about my throughout my life. Almost none of them were true. The one that was, was blown so out of proportion it was designed to make me look horrible. I didn’t care. The people who knew me, knew they weren’t true. The people who believed them weren’t worth knowing. The people who started them… well, we resolved those issues when necessary or we didn’t. Depended on whether or not I decided it required resolving or if they decided that they needed to prove to me the accuracy of the statement. They just managed to prove they didn’t know what they were talking about and that it was pretty easy to make them beg for mercy until they started back up.
Mostly, i learned at a young age that rumors mean nothing. It’s just a bunch of nonsense designed to make someone feel less than, usually by someone who feels even lesser. Let them have their moment to shine (if that’s what they think it is), and keep going. It’s nothing but background noise.

Romours become a bother when you give the people behind them too much attention. I just ignore such conversations and distance myself with it.

Rumours can be very nasty. Misunderstandings are prevalent so much.

Since it’s a rumour, none was a true. especially when I was rumoured to be dating my teacher…..100% all lies

I don’t know where such came from, but heard from somewhere that I was a stingy person. It seems my efforts are not appreciated.

A lot of rumors have been on air about me sometimes ago. Well it cool to say it loud and clear now that all still remains rumor.
