I actually believe that not only does this van make for an awesome picture, but I believe it was actually effective, just by the number of family farms that are still all over Vermont, especially in that general vicinity.
You and I had an amazing photo day together! And I agree that family farms are still doing well here in Vermont. Of course, with the exception of those farms that sold out to Agri-mark. FUCK AGRI-MARK!!! 🙁
My husband grew up on a family-run dairy farm where the cows were pastured every day. It breaks my heart to see these factory farms here now where the dairy cows are stalled 24/7 and never get to graze. Beautiful photo.
Thank you so much, Suzanne! When I first moved here to Vermont, I purchased a retired farm so that I would have plenty of room to fly kites and to dream.
Also, in case you missed it, I (finally) published another book.
I’m all about supporting local businesses, especially local farmers, who work so hard for the public.
I couldn’t agree with you more! Let’s continue to show them our love and appreciation, for they genuinely are the backbone of our communities.
