There’s a unique magic in unearthing memories from the past, especially those that are preserved in old photo albums. Recently, during a visit to my mom’s house, I stumbled upon a treasure trove from my early years—a photo album from Buckle My Shoe in New York City. This album, a time capsule of sorts, transported me back to 1984, when I was a little girl in preschool.
The cover of the album was slightly worn, its corners frayed with the passage of time. As I opened it, I was greeted by a collection of photographs that captured the essence of my childhood innocence and joy. Each page was a portal to a simpler time, filled with the laughter and wonder of preschool life, along with a handwritten card from Dilly The Clown and a doodle on scrap paper.
