All people dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind, wake in the morning to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people, for they dream their dreams with open eyes, and make them come true. – D.H. Lawrence
Except From My Writing Notebook, July 9, 2014:
I’m a dreamer; a dreamer who believes in fairness and equality.
When I was a child I would dream of how life might be.
As a young adult, I would dream of how life could be.
Now, as a full grown adult, I dream about how life should be.

Definitely a powerful quote on dreaming for a greater future. I like your excerpt as well because it outlines the different aspirations of each stage of life.
I give this an 100%, day dreamers are really fantastic and dangerous as u said. They wont let anything stop their dreams from coming through. Nice dreamers are just fantasy….not special
I love how the quotes implied the meaning. I’d like to be a day dreamer and chase my dreams.
The excerpt is a memory jogger. Nice inspiration
Its a different thing to dream..its a different thing to make it come through.. Dreaming only is not enough
I do not believe in equality. In universal stuff like rights and the law YES but aside from that no… For one there is such thing as INDIVIDUALITY so we will always be distinct to each other. To be honest the world will be boring if we are all equal.
I’m a dreamer too, maybe with or without an open eyes but I dream deep enough for it to come true.
Dreams are very powerful in every way. I quite agree that dreamers with a very strong will or resolve to make it happen are very dangerous. They will do everything that they can in order to make their dreams a reality.
I like this quote. Good inspiration
Being a dreamer can make people become enthusiastic to run their lives. The result is not important, but how our efforts (good / bad) in realizing the dream.
Dreams really differs indeed. Thanks for this quote and tips.
