Stay undecided. Don’t be too quick to decide on what you want to do with your life, or where you will eventually end up. Life is full of changes, often unexpectedly, and despite our best intentions and planning, everything can change at an instant. Be different. Wholeheartedly resist the sometimes overwhelming urge to be like everyone else. Be yourself. Whomever you may be, don’t ever let anyone else tell you who to be, what to believe, how to think, etc. Go your own way. Never follow the lead of anyone else, especially if you do not have any desire to follow in the footsteps or in the glory of anyone else. Never ride upon the coat-tails of anyone else. Seek the truth. Never stop learning about the things that really matter. Never ever let someone tell you what matters in life, you should always follow your heart to find the things in life that matter more. Never stop exploring. Never settle for anything less than what you could or should be experiencing in life.
Did you hike, drive or take the Railway??
This time I drove my car up Mount Washington. Back in the summer of 1993, I hiked to the summit. I would like to ride the cog railway next.
The key word at all times is always being myself. I try not to ever be another or want to be another . It can’t just work with me. I just love my life.
Life does not turn out exactly what we want it to be. We need to be flexible with any changes that might come along the way.
Great share…I sure learnt a lot from your write up..we need more of this..
One should have his own originality and integrity. One should be himself and should not live in a shadow with someone else’s. That’s how to live a great life.
Be yourself. Its a simple statement that most people find it too hard to practice. We live in a world that over-emphasizes on fitting in than being different.
The best thing to do when choosing a career path in life is to listen to your heart. Many times we fail because we give other people’s voice more power than ours.
The spirit of exploring goes a long way in helping you discover your utmost passion. If you don’t try things out, you will never know whether you can do them.
I love this post considering I recently made plans and God laughed at me and gave me something that led me down a totally different path. Lesson learned was live a day at the time and enjoy the present.
I agree but there is such thing as contentment. I have nothing against being the best but at times, It is not cool to be too greedy.
You are true and I followed what my heart desires to do. I’m now nearing my 30s and yet I am studying to fulfill my dreams.
