Vermont has truly become my beloved forever home. The farm, with all its demands and endless tasks, is a significant part of my life, but it’s something I adore. The joy I find in working the land, being surrounded by nature, and nurturing this vibrant space is incomparable. Despite the hard work and constant challenges, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is the life I’ve chosen, and it fills me with a deep sense of purpose and contentment.

I love what we’ve built here. 🙂
You have helped me more than you will ever know. I love you so much and I’m thrilled to call you my wife!
That photo is as beautiful as the comments from both of you!
Thank you so much, Suzanne! Amelia and I are married best friends and are still in love with each other! Our relationship is amazing!
It’s a beautiful home and it looks like a beautiful area. Reading this in conjunction with your thoughts on heroes made me reflect that one of the lessons of adulthood is that making a home and even just figuring out who we are is a lifelong process. I’m glad for you and Amelia it’s a happy process.
Thank you, Christopher! I’ve invested a tremendous amount of effort into transforming our house and property. I initially bought it at a bargain in 2020 with the vision of making it our forever home through extensive customization and upgrades.
We’re in a unique predicament: despite inviting everyone we know, aside from my mother, no one has visited us more than once. It seems that when people see what we’ve achieved, their jealousy overshadows their ability to appreciate it. Many struggle to grasp the immense hard work, dedication, and perseverance required to succeed. Society often conditions us to focus only on the final result, overlooking the arduous process behind it.
As for me, I’m full-send; if something is worthwhile, I will give every essence of my being and then some. I can be intense and seemingly unstoppable at times, and I think that this level of dedication, perseverance, and commitment is suspect to most people due to its rarity.
