While my Ford truck was in the shop for a tire service, I found myself with some time to kill in Rutland, Vermont. As I wandered around, I was drawn to the unmistakable sound of a train’s approach. To my delight, I arrived just in time to witness a train crossing US Route 7. The engines, GMTX 2687 and Vermont Railway 432 slowly rumbled past.
